I have been struggling to decide what to create lately, having too much stash doesn't help but I am trying to use it up - might take a while though! I thought perhaps if I had a theme it might help so I've decided to start with 'Mini Monday', I will be sharing something small each week - a tag, ATC, small card etc., it's a good way to use up some scraps as well.
This week I'm sharing a couple of small tags, I used my Graphic 45 ATC tag die to cut them both and decorated them with papers from the Graphic 45 Bird Watcher collection.
For this one I used several small scraps of paper along with a small topper from the 8 x 8 collection, I fussy cut some flowers from one of the papers and inked the edges of everything, to finish I added some twine and a small charm.
For the second one I used my Die-namics Fishtail Flag Dies to cut several fishtail flags, I layered them up and added a sentiment that I die cut from one of the papers along with a fussy cut bird and some fussy cut flowers. To finish this one I added some grosgrain ribbon secured with a twine bow.
I quite enjoyed making these, it's surprising just how much you can fit on a small tag.
Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

Two beautiful tags Pauline…I know what you mean about too much stash…Ihave been getting rid of stuff to the charity shop as there is no way I will ever use some of my older stuff…I think my taste has changed from when I bought it all…still left with more than enough…take care xxx
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful tags, and both have such great detail! Love those tiny birds!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely tags. Our family loves birds and would love to see one of these attached to a gift. Actually they'd like it if you handed it to them with nothing at all. [Bunny]

Very sweet little tags Pauline. The papers you have used are so pretty but it is your placement of the tiny elements that make these tags so wonderful.

Beautiful tags, they're full of lovely little details.

The tags are beautiful, Pauline. The nice part about tags, aside from using up scraps, is that you can load them with embellishments as they don't need to go into the mail, which is getting very expensive here! Lovely work as always.
