You're the Best

As anyone that follows my bog will know, I really struggle when it comes to making cards for family or close friends and it was certainly the case when I sat down to create a Father's Day card for my son to give his Dad.  I turned to my usual place to go when I struggle and found this card on Pinterest, it was pinned from the Docrafts site which unfortunately is no longer there!


My card is very slightly different but not much -  I left a couple of bits off, added a banner and computer generated the sentiment, I also decorated the inside and added a little verse.

    Very clever Pauline…that’s a great theme …would be perfect for my husband…
    Just started to rain here this morning so the washing will be going in the tumbler….and the tennis is suspended so maybe some crafting!…take care xxx

    The crossword paper and theme is a brilliant idea for a Father's Day card, I'm sure it was well received ;)
    Pinterest is a wonderful place for ideas...and a place to lose several hours if you're not careful.. I know from experience, lol :o)

    I'm exactly the same Pauline, especially when it comes to doing a card for men. Pinterest is fab and it just gives us a little glimmer to get cracking. Fantastic card, love these papers. I use these a lot for men's cards as they are so versatile. I bet your hubby loved it from his son. Hugs xx
