On the Canal

This is the card that I have created for my Brother in Law, I find him quite difficult to make for because he does not have any hobbies,  he did have a canal boat though so that is what I decided to go with.

I used images from the Hunkydory Picture Perfect It's a Mans Life pad and papers from the Hobbies for Him pad.  I computer generated the sentiment and added a verse to the inside.

Thank you for popping in today - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

  11. How fun you found paper with the canal boat to use for his card. It is hard to make male cards if they don't fish or golf. There isn't to much male paper but this is perfect.

  19. What an elegant, timelessly lovely card. Canal boats are virtually never seen on this side of the pond, so seeing them highlighted here makes me adore this sophisticated masculine greeting all the more.

  22. Well this card seems perfect for your BIL! Beautiful scenes and card.

We live by the Erie Canal, and my Dad worked on the bridges along the canal to raise them for larger boats. So your card brought back memories for me too.
