Mixed Media Blossom

I have created a little mixed media project using some of the leftovers from the Graphic 45 Blossom collection, I was inspired by a project that I saw on the Graphic 45 Blog.

I covered some chipboard with some woodgrain paper and then painted it with Gesso to lighten it a little.  I then stamped some text in pink ink and added some texture with a stencil and texture paste.

I fussy cut lots of the beautiful blooms from the Blossom collection along with some butterflies from some leftover Simple Stories papers, I also die cut a couple of foliage pieces.  Everything has been layered up with foam pads, hopefully you can see the dimension in the photograph below.

Thank you for popping in today - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

  9. Hi Pauline, yes Bella is a working type of lab and is of English breed, I thought she looks a bit like your boys. Her mum is UK and dad is from Tasmania, both working dogs. The breeder trains them to retrieve and many of the pups went to the Police for training. Once Bella has her pups as per breeders agreement all of them are already sold to the Police force, as you will know they make excellent dogs for such work. AND she LOVES water....funny hey? Sound familiar?
Hope Ramsay and, oh gosh forgotten the other one's name, sorry, hope they are doing well...love to see a photo now.
