My eldest son starts his new teaching position on Tuesday, he came home for a couple of years and worked locally, but as soon as a position became available at the school that he did the teaching placement element of his University Degree at, he decided to go back and work there.
I used the Echo Park Back to School collection, I have the digital copy of the collection - it is so much more flexible than the physical collection. I fussy cut all of the little elements and layered them up with foam pads. I also decorated the inside with more of the colourful papers.
Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

As I have had to make teacher cards for my Grandsons while at J&I school and my youngest Grandson has always wanted to the Best Teacher in the world on his cards. Best wishes to you Son and nice that he has got back to his old stamping ground (so to speak).

ReplyDeleteSuch lovely card for your son!
ReplyDeleteHe perhaps will have a strange year because of the covid rules and limitations? In Italy all the school world is an incognito: compulsive rules, distancing, masks, fever measures, covid tests.... How we could teach and pupils learn in those inhuman conditions?? :( I'm very worried about.
What a fun card, love all the papers and elements you have added to it. Our daughter is a Kindergarten teacher. It's a tough year for teachers this year, so many changes and rules because of the pandemic. Good luck to your son on his first teaching job!!
ReplyDeletePS I make a card for our daughter every year for the first day of school and she still loves it!!!
Hugs
Sue
