Rise & Shine

I am in the process of making a Teeny Weeny Tag Album with the Graphic 45 Farmhouse Collection, I am following a Facebook Live Class with Clare Charvill from My Creative Spirit - it is taking me a while, I think I am the slowest crafter in the world, so I thought I would take a little time out and make a tag!

I love the Farmhouse Collection, it has lots of super Chicken images in it.  I love Chickens, we had two a while ago and we are probably going to get some more in the near future.  I die cut the tag and added a couple of the fabulous papers along with a couple of items from the Cut-Apart Sheet, I fussy cut the Chickens from one of the Ephemera Cards and added them with foam tape.  I made the little rosette from one of the Patterns & Solids papers and added a little cow that I die cut from one of the papers.  The ribbon, button and twine are all from my stash.

Hopefully I will complete my album soon and will be able to share it with you.  Thank you for visiting my blog today - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

  12. I never think of you as a slow crafter, Pauline, because you make so many cards. I always imagine your creativity is in high gear because everything is always so gorgeous! I am a *very* slow crafter! This tag is so cute, and I adore the farm theme! I bet your tag album will be gorgeous - I can't wait to see it!

  13. A beautifully embellished tag Pauline, I can't wait to see the finished album. I love making albums but they are rather time consuming so I tend to limit them to special occasion such as for Christening presents etc.

A Free Range egg supplier near us will be selling their current layers(7500 of them) in August and I am trying to drop into conversation to Hubby that it might be nice to have some hens again...we'll see!! xx

  26. Ok, now I want this collection!!! The chickens area awesome. They work great with the rise and shine - our chickens wake up all our neighbors every morning - no one likes us much. LOL!

  27. Absolutely lovely tag! I'm head-over-heels in love with this collection and really, really hope I'm able to pick up at least a few pieces from it at one point.

Fear not! I'm an extremely methodical crafter usually and will almost certainly never win any awards for the speed at which I papercraft. That's okay! I adore the process and how relaxing, enjoyable and even cathartic it usually is for me.
