Love Builds a Happy Home

Those of you that visit my blog regularly will know that my eldest son moved out at the weekend, he will be starting a new teaching job in September and he and his girlfriend have moved into a new flat together - I created this little folio to give them to welcome them to their new home.

I used the Carta Bella Home Again collection, I have the digital version which means I can print as many of the papers and elements as I wish.

This is the front, back and inside flap, the little house is a Marianne Design die, I cut it from some of the wood grain paper from the Home Again collection.

This is the inside of the folio, there is a flap with some tags tucked in it on the left, the centre panel has a pocket with a card in it and the right side has a small waterfall - there are lots of fabulous sayings in the collection and I used several of them in the waterfall section and also on the card and tags.

Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

  21. Hi Pauline

    How lovely is this?

I love the "In This House" list. Everyone should have one pinned up for all to see .. .. and abide by!!!

Gorgeous colours and so many lovely paper and elements.

I hope the move went well and they are all settled in. Wishing them happy times together!

Hope they don't live too far away from you.

  23. It's a beautiful card, the papers are so pretty and the black and mint colors are great. I'm sure they will enjoy receiving it at their new place. Suppose you are a little sad that he has moved out, but happy for him with a new job and all. Our Granddaughter moved out last weekend and my daughter is taking it pretty well, and she came home for dinner several nights already. I don't remember my parents being sad when I married and moved out at 20 years old !!
