A Fresh Start

This is another card created with the beautiful Prima Fruit Paradise collection.

The frame for the topper is a Hunkydory die and as before I have inked the edges of everything, the sentiment, label, butterfly and pear were fussy cut and the flowers were die cut with my Tattered Lace dies.  I have also decorated the inside and created a little pocket so that I could add a little biscuit and a tea bag along with a journal card to add a message.  This card will go to the nursing home for the staff to give one of the residents on their Birthday, there are several that have no family, so the staff always give them cards and gifts.

  6. How kind of you Pauline, to donate this stunning card/gift to a Care Home. I have supported homes for many years and sadly this year, they will not get the money that I usually give them! Hope you are keeping well. Hugs, Carol S.xx

  8. Wonderful card, Pauline! Such a gorgeous collection you used! Love the treats inside! The recipient will be so happy to receive this. The seniors homes are lonely places in normal times but with no visitors permitted it must be horrible. Here in Nova Scotia, they are allowing visitors now, but it has to be pre-arranged and held outdoors. We no longer have family members in nursing homes but my SIL volunteers there. She hasn't been able to go there since the lockdown began. Wishing you a wonderful day, my friend!
