Multi Colour Birthday
I cut the border from five different colours of textured card stock, layered them all onto a different coloured base and paper pieced the sentiment using the spare letters from the die cuts - quite simple but rather time consuming doing the paper piecing.

What a fabulously fun, cheery birthday greeting. The multiple layers make me think of everything from tiers on a cake to ruffles on a party dress - each of which drive home the b-day theme all the more.
