Hoppy Easter - Twofer
As soon as I saw the theme I thought of my Tim Holtz Cottontail dies and decided to create an Easter card and a New Baby card.
I cut the dies twice for the Easter card and used papers from the Sara Signature Rustic Wedding collection! The flowers are Tim Holtz again, they are called Wildflower Stems - I'm not sure where the sentiment die and stamp came from.
For the New Baby card I used the same die and papers from the Forever Friends New Arrival paper pad, I just added a sentiment and some hand made card candi.
I would like to enter these cards into the Twofer Card Challenge #25 - Spring Animals.

What a fabulous twofer Pauline, you really have used the bunny in two very different ways xx
ReplyDeleteSuper cute cards, Pauline! What a great die - I love both of these cards! Question... on the baby card, did you go around the edge of the die-cut with a marker? I love how you did this - it makes the bunny and his bow pop!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I love these sweet bunnies and the boy card is darling with the gingham papers and matching bow. The soft little brown bunnies hanging out in the flowers made a pretty Easter card.

ReplyDeleteThat's a tremendous hare, so stately and versatile! I love both your Twofer designs, Pauline! The Easter design is really cool with nearly mirror images and beautiful flowers and coloring! And as a single hare on the baby card, it brings to mind the beloved long-eared bunny every baby nursery should have! Love the blue shades and pretty pp!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #25! Take care and be safe!! ♥Hugs, Darnell

What a sweet, dimensional, texture-y Easter bunny scene, Pauline ... so beautifully detailed! Your baby card is adorable ... the white rabbit looks almost fluffy ...he's fabulous with the soft gingham and polka dot layers! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)

ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous and fun and so creative, Pauline. I wish I had that die now! The baby card is so precious and I need two of them now. Praying for those little babies to stay safe. You stay safe too. Bunches of hugz.
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards with so many wonderful details! I love your brown bunnies and those pretty flowers - rich tones and great texture! Your baby boy card is so sweet with the patterned paper and inked edging! Thank you for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these cards. The bunny is certainly equally perfect for a baby card as for an Easter card. I like how you did monochromatic style for the baby and chose beautiful spring colors for the Easter one.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully lovely designs. I really like the soft earthy, springtime perfect shades that you utilized on both of these beautiful spring greetings.
