This is another card that I created for the May Edition of Making Cards Magazine. I created 12 cards for this issue using the adorable toppers and craft papers that were free with the magazine. You can see more cards using the free craft papers HERE.
The aim of these cards is to show what can be created using just the free images and papers along with a few basic stash items - all I have added to create this card is some card stock, a sentiment and some ribbon from my stash.
I hope you managed to pick up a copy of the magazine, this issue was based around colour and the papers are so bright and cheerful.
Thank you for popping in today, your company is much appreciated - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

It's a decoupage image from Splash Crafts - you can find it in the sports and hobbies collection.
The papers are from an older La Pashe CD, I created the insert in word and added some ribbon from my stash.

Happy 90th Birthday Nan
I created this card for one of my son's to give to my Mum for her 90th Birthday, I have made two - they can decide which one they give her!
I used one of Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley Mayhew Decoupage Sheets, this one is from the Autumn collection but Mum loves purple and green so I decided to use it even though her Birthday is in the summer. The pretty floral papers are from the Hunkydory Birth Flowers Collection.
The pretty die cut edge is a Sue Wilson die and the numbers are Tonic dies.

You're not old ...
I have another Hunkydory card to share today, this one is for my Brother-in-Law - I have nearly finished creating all of the family birthday cards for June, I will have to start thinking about my youngest son's birthday in July and also a card for my eldest son when he graduates from university.
The fabulous topper, patterned card stock and sentiment are all from the Birthdays for Him collection.
I used one of the backing papers from the Hunkydory@ Home USB #06 to create an insert, I added the soft edged box in Word.

Happy 90th Birthday Mum
This is the card that I have made for my Mum for her 90th Birthday, I have used the Hunkydory Birth Flowers Collection.
I decided to emulate the circle design of the main image and create two smaller circular elements for the sentiment and age. I used a variety of circle dies and patterned papers from the collection along with some gold mirror card.
I added two bows using ribbon from my stash and used one of the inserts from the collection to decorate the inside of the card.
It's not her birthday for another couple of weeks but I am quite safe to share this as she doesn't do technology.
