Twofer Feathers

I really wanted to join in with Darnell's new Twofer Challenge and I have just made it in time.

The theme for the first challenge is Feathers, you have to create two different card designs for two different occasions using the same stamps and/or dies.


I used one of my older Clearly Besotted Feather stamps to create my two cards.

For the first one I stamped and embossed the feathers on a sheet of Craftwork Cards paper, the sentiment is also from Craftwork Cards.


For the second card I used Distress Oxide inks to stamp the feathers in a row and added a Stampendous sentiment stamped on the same paper that I used for the first card.


They were a bit rushed but hopefully I will have more time for the next challenge.

I would like to enter these cards into the Twofer Challenge #1 - Feathers.

    Two gorgeous feather cards, Pauline. Love the paper that you've used for the background ... gorgeous colours that look amazing with the gold embossed feathers.     I'm so glad you made it, Pauline! Your cards don't look rushed at all! I love your embossed background feathers birthday card and I especially love the way you stamped your line up of feathers on your thank you card. (Fave colors!) As it turns out, feathers can be a bit of a head-scratcher to design with and I'm pinning this idea to CASE later!! Thank you for the shoutout and for joining in my first Twofer Card Challenge!!     I have had a feather stamp out in readiness for days and just didn't get chance to play along :-(

    The Twofers theme is a fun concept, I used to play along with a challenge blog now closed, but they had a different rule settings. I like to use my stash in different ways and this challenge inspires me to do so. You too, I see, they are beautiful and very different cards.
