Watercolour Thank You

I have made two cards for this weeks Less is More challenge, it's lucky dip week and the theme is Watercolour.

I scribbled a couple of my Spectrum Aqua pens onto a piece of acetate and added some water before dabbing some card stock on it to pick up the colour.  When dry, I stamped a selection of flowers and leaves from my Altenew Adore You stamp set and fussy cut them.

For this first card I stamped the sentiment from the Adore You stamp set directly onto the card front and added a layer of black card stock.

For my second card I changed the orientation and stamped the sentiment onto a separate piece of card stock before cutting it into a banner shape and adding a small piece of black card stock behind it.

I added a few black pearls to embellish both cards.

I would like to enter these cards into this weeks Less is More Challenge #348 - Watercolour.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

  17. So super stunning Pauline. I love the colour you've chosen for your blooms and all the clever tones you've created with watercolours. The card is all the more striking with the minimal monochromatic look and just the pop of colour on the flowers. CAS-brilliant and thanks as always for joining us at Less is More this week.
