Watercolour Thank You

I have made two cards for this weeks Less is More challenge, it's lucky dip week and the theme is Watercolour.

I scribbled a couple of my Spectrum Aqua pens onto a piece of acetate and added some water before dabbing some card stock on it to pick up the colour.  When dry, I stamped a selection of flowers and leaves from my Altenew Adore You stamp set and fussy cut them.


For this first card I stamped the sentiment from the Adore You stamp set directly onto the card front and added a layer of black card stock.


For my second card I changed the orientation and stamped the sentiment onto a separate piece of card stock before cutting it into a banner shape and adding a small piece of black card stock behind it.


I added a few black pearls to embellish both cards.

    So super stunning Pauline. I love the colour you've chosen for your blooms and all the clever tones you've created with watercolours.     Very creative way to add color to your flowers, I've never come to think of making watercoloring first and stamping on top off it -this has given so artsy and beautiful results!
