Seaside Memories

I have created this card for the CD Sunday Challenge - the theme is Sun or Sand or Sea, I think I've just about managed to cover all three!

I have used a topper and sentiment from the Debbi Moore Designs Inspiration Magazine, the papers are from the Shabby Chic Seaside CD.

I fussy cut the starfish and layered everything up with foam pads. The sentiment has been attached using some string from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the CD Sunday Challenge - Sun or Sand or Sea.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

  17. I read your comment on my blog and I thank you for your words of wisdom. I am sorry that I didn't return the favor more often to your blog; but I will also say that the only time I ever got comments on my blog entries (not the ones you wrote) were most often only from DT members of challenges who are "obliged to comment" on entries. When I entered challenges, I ALWAYS ALWAYS commented and visited at least 5 other blogs. And if I entered 10 challenges, that's 50 blogs I'm leaving random well meaning---non DT obligatory -- comments on; and not one of those people EVER came back to visit my blog. So that's where the discouragement comes from. I also think that Blogger isn't user friendly, and I wish there was just an easy way to leave a reply button on comments that people post on your blog, or a link back for that person's most recent blog post. I think if I had to do my blogging adventure over again I would have just started with Word Press

I do appreciate all the support you showed me; but I didn't want you to be left with the impression that I never visited or commented on other blogs; and like I said, I am sorry for not visiting you more often. You've definitely given me things to think about.

All of your work is gorgeous and I think you are very talented. I really love the colors you used in your post today!

  36. Fabulous as always! I love the colours you have used for this card and the starfish set it off wonderfully. Living by the sea we sometimes find starfish in the most unexpected places courtesy of the seagulls who pick them up from the shore and then drop them in the surrounding streets.
