Mainly Teal

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, it's a colour challenge this week - Mainly Teal.

I have used some teal card stock and Sue Wilson's Cascading Butterflies die.  I cut the Cascading Butterflies from white card stock and then attached it to the teal card stock leaving a narrow border along the sides - I then popped the butterflies back in the cut outs and lifted the wings up for a little dimension.

The sentiment was free with a Tattered Lace magazine and I added some teal enamel dots.

I would like to enter this card into the Less is More Challenge 318 - Mainly Teal.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

  30. A technique I'll keep in mind for a future butterfly die cut front, putting them back in the cut out space and mounting their wings for dimension has such a great effect!

  31. Wow, this is fantastic. I love how you did the butterflies. That is a very cool idea to cut them from white, then inlay. I really love your card.

  32. This is a very sophisticated and striking design Pauline giving terrific dimension with those popped up butterflies. It is lovely to see the dark colour peeping through those crisp white die cuts. So very cool and CAS. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
