Poinsettia Basket

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Sparkle and Shine chosen by Wynn. Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I have used a fabulous image and papers from the Ooh La La Creations The Shawn Jenkins Collection to make my card.

The decoupage image is called Poinsettia Winter Greeting, I printed it several times so that I could create some decoupage layers.   The papers are from the same collection, the sentiment is from another collection on the CD.

The ribbon and gems are from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Jingle Belles - Holiday Cards with Flowers
Winter Wonderland - Add Ribbon/Lace or Christmas Flowers

Make sure you pop over to the CD Sunday Challenge blog and check out the DT Inspiration - we would love for you to join us for our Sparkle and Shine challenge, just make sure you use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.

  2. Wonderful card Pauline. I love Poinsettias - in pictures and photos. I don't do well with them in real life. They don't seem to flourish when I am looking after them.

  21. The blaze of this basket of poinsettias looks so very 'touchable' and dimensional. It's a beautiful image and I love the way you've done the narrow mats and then placed it over even more gorgeous patterned paper. Just a lovely card. TFS & have a great upcoming week.
