Admiring the Star

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Creator's Crafts and the theme for this months challenge is Anything Goes - Paper Creator products are not essential but you will gain an extra entry for using them.

I used the Admiring The Star Ultimate Kit to make two Christmas cards for my Great Nephews.

For this card I used the Easel Topper from the Create an Easel section.  It is a decopage image so lots of fussy cutting.  The sentiment is also part of the kit and I used the insert to decorate the inside of my card.

For my second card I used the Topper from the Build A Topper section, another decoupage image along with one of the papers and a sentiment.

I used the same paper to create an insert.

I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges:

The Merry Christmas Challenge 5 - Anything Christmas
Send a Smile for Kids - Celebration cards for Kids
Allsorts Challenge Week 387 - Let's Make a Start on Christmas

  32. Such lovely cards. It is neat how you show that you can get two different looking cards with basically the same stuff. I love fussy cutting. I don't do it much these day with dies everywhere. Such a shame--I need to do it now before my eyesight gives out.

  45. You're great at those decoupage layered images. I love the paper you've used for the first card. Looks textured and love how the red edges frame the scene and makes your card look CAS.
