For this card I used one of the Centre Fold Fancy Card Kraft and the Die'sire Tea Party Create-a-Card Die both of which are the Weekend WOW on Hochanda at the moment.
The papers are from the Downton Abbey 12 x 12" Paper Pad and the flowers are the Die’sire Classiques Delicate Flower Die.
I also used cardstock from the Luxury Cardstock Gold Pack and some Centura Pearl Lavender.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Lemon Shortbread Challenge 27 - Always Anything Goes
Crafty Catz Challenge 344 - Anything Goes with a twist: use Die Cuts or Punches
Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

Lovely card Pauline, I find larger dies difficult to work with as they need to be the focal point of the card and I prefer to use dies as embellishments, but you've made a great card again.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular card...xx
ReplyDeleteA really elegant card, I love the die cut in gold.

Hi Pauline, You have to doubious honour of being my first comment on FB since my break to move back home lol.
ReplyDeleteyo
Your card as always is amazing, but can understand your comments, having to work continually with dies does restrict how and what you use to create your cards

This card is fabulous. Minimal and rich in the same time.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to use stamps and to play with papers combinations too ... ehm... also because I haven't a cutter machine ^_^ even if I have a lot a friends that gift me the dye cuts.

A fantastic card Pauline. I love your choice of colours and paper and what a lovely shape too. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteA fabulous card with lovely papers and perfect construction. I agree with you that colouring in stamps and choosing papers is the most creative part of card making and using dies all the time is like it's cheating. Your card is not cheating though, its beautiful. Xx
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning, luv Sam x

Beautiful, Pauline. I know what you mean about not working with dies a lot. I have a zillion of them and hardly ever use them because I prefer images and coloring.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge.

STUNNING card Pauline, we are suckers for the dies aren't we?, but I'm like Margaret, hardly use them.
