Turquoise Birthday

I was asked to create the Editor's Selection cards for the July edition of Making Cards Magazine. I had to use the super Mermaid Folk papers that were free with the magazine and also available on the free CD.

The aim of these cards is to show what can be created using the free images and papers along with just a few basic stash items so it is always a bit of a challenge.

For this card I just added some black ribbon and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Friends Challenge 37 - Favourite Embellishment
Crafty Sentiments Designs - Anything Goes
Get Creative Challenge 44 - Lots of Blue
ABC Challenge - M is for Maiden
The Sisters of Craft August Challenge - Always Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

  20. I'm sure it can be a challenge having to use such limited items, but it's also very inspiring to see what can be made with just a few pieces of paper. You've been very creative with the layout, simple but effective.
