Nautical Seagull

This is another of the Editor's Selection cards that I created for the July edition of Making Cards Magazine. This card was made using the bonus craft papers that were sent out with the monthly e-newsletter - you can sign up at www.makingcardsmagazine.com.

The aim of these cards is to show what can be created using the free images and papers along with a few basic stash items.

I added a little colour to the beak and feet of the seagull before using a circle die to cut him out.  I also fussy cut a fish and added a little pink to his stripes to match.  The sentiment is from an Ooh La La Creations CD.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Cards in Envy Challenge - Wings
Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge132  - By The Seaside
Deep Ocean Challenge 135 - Seaside/Beach
Inspiration Destination Challenge 98 - Always Anything Goes
Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge 206 - Anything Goes
Creative Moments Challenge 99 - Anything Goes/Optional Twist: Circles

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

  21. Oh, this is a fun one! This is the type of image and style that I think would work for an older man's card as well as younger ones. I like how the patterned paper brings color to your card and how you left the image nearly untouched.
