Make a wish

I was asked to create the Editor's Selection cards for the July edition of Making Cards Magazine. I had to use the super Mermaid Folk papers that were free with the magazine and also available on the free CD.

The aim of these cards is to show what can be created using just the free images and papers along with some basic stash items so it is always a challenge.

For this card I coloured the sentiment panel to match the papers using a blue ProMarker and just added some black ribbon to opposite corners.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge - Anything Goes
Not Just Cards Challenge 34 - Always Anything Goes
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge 39 - Always Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion Challenge 324 - Always Anything Goes
Creatalicious Challenge 96 - Anything Goes + Option: Sea/Beach
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper August Challenge - Anything Goes with Patterned Paper

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

  16. I think this is a great example of how a card doesn't need to have many embellies or be overloaded with stuff to be beautiful. Its simplicity is part of its beauty.
