Birthday Mermaid - CD Sunday

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Fab 'n' Feminine chosen by Wynn. Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I have used an image and papers from the free CD that came with the July edition of Making Cards Magazine.

The sentiment is from Craft Creations, I layered it onto a flower from my stash and the scalloped edge is a Clearly Besotted die.

The ribbon is from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Friends Challenge 36 - Use Your Dies
Fresh Brewed Designs July Challenge - Birthdays
Creative Knockouts Challenge 151 - Birthday Wishes
Crafts and Me July Challenge - Anything Goes /optional Summer Memories

Make sure you pop over to the CD Sunday Challenge blog and check out the DT Inspiration - we would love for you to join us for our Fab 'n' Feminine challenge, just make sure you use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

I went shopping yesterday but could not find a copy of the magazine, it looks a great CD as I saw a couple of other cards made with it.

  19. If you will excuse my language, I am totally crap at bows so I have a very high respect for people who can create one as brilliantly as the one on this card, I know it is not the main focus of the creation but it stands out so well to me, love it and I also love the card that you have created.

  20. I don't know how to describe this style, a bit folkloric in softer colors perhaps, but I do know I like this kind of patterns and style. Super card!
