Simple Happy Birthday

This is my card for the new challenge at Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge. The theme is always Anything Goes - you may enter any creation on which patterned paper has been used, you are no longer required to completely cover your project with patterned paper, as long as you use some on your creation.

I have used papers from Wild Rose Studio and the sentiment is a die from Poppy Stamps.

I made the paper rosette using a Sizzix die, I made it a little smaller and added a button tied with some twine.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Brown Sugar Challenge 184 - Anything Goes
Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge 123 - Anything Goes
Winter Wonderland Challenge - Pastel Colours
Creative Knockouts Challenge 126 - Birthday Wishes
The Stamping Boutique Challenge 75 - Use Die Cuts/Punches
Little Red Wagon Challenge 326 - They Say It's Your Birthday

Thank you for popping in today, don't forget to take a look at the Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge blog to check out the fabulous DT inspiration and join in with our Patterned Paper Challenge.

  2. Hi, Pauline! Happy Monday! Such a happy, fun birthday card! I like that you customized your medallion. Did you use striped paper? Or did you color it to fit the medallion? The added twine in the button is cute! Thanks for another inspirational Pauline-style masterpiece! Hugs, de

  19. A great no image creation. After cleaning up in my stash and craft room I've realized I've got three (!) full boxes of DPs! Need no more for the next years. This kind of design is a great idea for how to get to use some of them.
