Autumn is ....

It's time for a new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons and the theme for the next fortnight is Autumnal Hues.

I have used a fabulous sentiment from our sponsor Tiffany Doodles and papers from the new Autumnal Bliss collection from NitWit Collections to make my card.

I have used Kraft card stock and inked the edges of everything with Distress Ink.

The leaf embellishments have been cut from the image which I printed a couple of times in different sizes and coloured with a variety of Distress Inks - I just built the colour up gradually.  The ribbon and twine are both from my stash.

Butterflies and Vine

Stitched for you

It's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs and the theme for the next fortnight is Animals Acting Like Humans and after a short break I am really excited to be rejoining the team.

I chose to use the adorable Stitched for you image, I coloured it with Spectrum Noir markers and used papers from Nitwit Collections.

First ever ...

I'm going to pop over to Erika's today and share an 'oldie on Friday'.  This is the first ever card I entered into a CD Sunday challenge back in April 2011.

The image and sentiment are Jayne Nestorenko 'Patchwork Polly - Olivia' - I actually did some stamping in the old days! The papers are from Sharon Duncan's Embossibilities Everyday CD.

University

My eldest son started the next chapter of his life when he moved to University on Saturday, he is studying to be a Primary School Teacher, this is the card I made for him.

I kept it quite simple, the papers and image are from the La Pashe The Best of 2012 CD and the sentiment is computer generated.

It certainly feels very strange without him, very quiet as well!

Pearls and Lace

This is my second challenge as Guest Designer at CD Sunday. The challenge for the next two weeks is Pearls and Lace, you must use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I have used an image and papers from the fabulous new Downton Abbey CD from Crafter’s Companion for my card.

I have used elements from the Card Companions, the Countess of Grantham Designer Papers and the Countess of Grantham Co-ordinating Papers.  The pearls are in the corners, unfortunately they don't show up very well in the photograph, the ribbon and lace is from my stash.

Let it Snow

This is the third card that was published in Crafter's Inspiration Issue 8, I made three cards in total using the fabulous Nordic Christmas collection.

The village is one of the embossing folders, the embossing folders emboss so beautifully crisp and clear - the papers are from the CD and the sentiment is a stamp from the collection.

I also used red Core'dinations card stock and some ribbon from my stash.

Santa's Helper

This is my card for the the mid challenge reminder at Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra, our theme is always 'anything goes' - you can use any materials, any techniques etc., as long as the end result is a Christmas project.

I made this card for the latest Crafter's Companion Crafters' Inspiration magazine using the fabulous Nordic Christmas CD and Embossing Folders.
