The perfect blend!

This is my card for the new Challenge at House-Mouse and Friends Monday, it should have been posted on Monday, better late than never!

The current challenge is House Mouse and a Friend, alternatively you can enter an Anything Goes card just as long as you use a House-Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie image.

I have used an fun image from Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse Food and Drink 2 Decoupage Collection and papers from NitWit Collections.


I tried to give this one a bit of a rustic feel and used Distress Inks to ink the edges of everything.


The sentiment and flowers are also from the NitWits collection, I cut them out, inked the edges and layered them up before placing a pearl from my stash in the centres.

    Pauline, I love this card. I think the ink on the edges and the colors are perfect and I love that image. I have a bond with coffee (drinking in some right now) so the image is even cooler to me - lol. I just made a coffee bar in my kitchen last week and I can just see some little critters over there playing in my coffee beans - ackk!!! Great card! Hugz

    I have this decoupage also I have it for along time.
