As I'm sure you will know there are not very many images of this type available so I resorted to photocopying the box fronts of the kits that he makes up and recycling a map from an old book.
Lots of distress ink and a computer generated sentiment and this is what I came up with. I also decorated the inside of the card to match.
Laurence was very pleased and I think hubby was quite impressed with his card.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Get Creative Challenge 17 - For the Boys/Father's Day
Words 2 Scrap By Challenge 18 - It's a Man's World

Thank you for calling today, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.

This is such a wonderful card for so may reason including the imagination that went it to it but the thing that stands out the most is because it was a combined effort between you and your son meant for someone you both love.
