Cute as a Cupcake

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme is Sweet Treats chosen by Wendy.

I decided to use one of the Card Topper Digi Kits called Cute as a Cupcake to make my card.


Everything you need comes in the kit, including decoupage layers, sentiments and embellishments - the only thing that I have added is a seam binding bow.


I cut out the decoupage layers and built them up using foam pads, I also added extra card stock between the layers of patterned papers.


I have used the matching insert to decorate the inside of my card.

    Gorgeous Pauline!! I love the way the layers look bevelled! I actually had to zoom right in to see what was going on...very effective! Love the image and the lovely blue/pink combo. hugs :)

    what a sweet card! and it sounds as if you get quite a bit in the kit. I will need to check these out, especially after seeing this precious card you have created!

    thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment. I must say I got the giggles about my stamps in the barn. it's not 'really' a barn. it's just what we call it. no animals, other than the night-time critters that sneak out there... my craft room was overflowing so hubby made me clear things out so that we didn't become an episode of a reality tv show. all of my extra stuff is out there.
