Using old stash

I have made two simple thank you cards using a 3 Birds kit that I bought from Crafter's Companion a very long time ago and have never used.

The kit is called 'Card Making by number' and contains everything you need to make 40 cards, two each of 20 different designs.

I think the papers are showing their age a bit but I am determined to use of some of  my old stash.

This card has been made following the instructions in the kit:

I added some additional orange card stock and changed the orientation on this one:

I am going to be using a lot more of my old stash in the coming weeks, I really do need to make some room in my craft room.

I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges:

Kraftyhands December Challenge - No Squares Allowed
Crafty Sentiment Designs Challenge - Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door Challenge - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
Creative Moments Challenge 58 - Anything Goes/Non Traditional Christmas Colours

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is much appreciated.

  11. I don't think the papers show their age, unless you're talking about getting them back in the seventies... I think they've got a great retro 70s feel to them.

  13. What a great idea - I could probably make at least 100 cards with the papers I have on hand! These two cards are very nice and would be enjoyed by any recipient. Making cards for gifts or to send "just because" is something I want to do more of in the new year.

  18. Wonderful way to use up old papers Pauline. I am guilty of having so much old stash but must always be buying more. I already have another long shopping list written up. Making cards keeps me sane.
Must say I am looking forward to being a DT member.
