Baby Blue

I was asked by a close family friend to make a Christening card for them, I actually made two so that they had a choice and this is the second one.

This one is quite different from the first one, the image is from a kit that I bought from Scrapbookingmad - in the kit the image is actually a pyramid decoupage but I decided to print it several times and fussy cut the image to make traditional decoupage.

I have used several spellbinders dies and computer generated the sentiment.  I also decorated the inside of the card using the same papers.

As with the first card  I have made a matching box with a velum wrap printed in the same pattern as the card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Come and Get It Challenge - Anything Goes with a Sentiment
Sweet 7 Challenge 2 - Baby
Love to Create Challenge 120 - Mad about Plaid
Crafting from the Heart Challenge 33 - Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper August Challenge - Anything goes with Patterned Paper

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.

  17. I have the feeling I keep having to apologize to you dear Pauline for not being around much these past couple of days, things continue to be extremely hectic at work, don't have nearly enough blogging time as I'd like, nor do I have the time to create much, terribly sorry about this, but now that I DO have some spare time, I love coming over to your blog and I'm enjoying myself immensely. Love your posts, you have been so active and very very creative, too! Hugs, Ira xox
