Scenic Flight

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and it is my turn to choose the theme for the next fortnight.

Those of you who know me will be aware that I live with my husband and two sons, therefore a good number of my cards are male themed and as Father's Day in the UK falls in the middle of our challenge I have chosen Father's Day/Male - so anything you like as long as it is suitable for a man or boy.

I have used an image and papers from the Ooh La La Creations Boys to Men CD.  I was inspired by a technique that I saw in one of Joanna Sheen's Cardmaking Collections and printed the image twice so that I could cut out a section and raise it up on foam pads.

The sentiment tags are LOTV and the ribbon and brad are from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Paper Pretties Challenge 313 - Hip to be Square
RRR Challenge 96 - Masculine with Ribbon or Trims
The Crafter's Cafe Challenge 66 - Masculine
Aud Sentiments Challenge 108 - Any Sentiment for a Guy
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 262 - Fathers Day/Male
MilkCoffee Challenge - Fathers Day/Special Male
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Father's Day/Masculine
Scrapper's Delights Challenge 24 - Anything Goes with a Twist: Layer It Up
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge 219 - Father's Day or For the Men in your Life

Make sure you pop over to the Ooh La La Creations Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our Father's Day/Male challenge.  Also, make sure you tune into Create and Craft at 3pm for the launch of the fabulous new 'Say it With Words' CD from Ooh La La Creations - you can see a card made using the new CD HERE.

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.

  7. Very handsome card, Pauline. I absolutely love the plaid background paper and the scene is gorgeous, but you really brought all that beauty up to another level by cutting out that one section and popping it up. Wonderful job.
