Rustic Birthday

I'm delighted to be able to tell you that I am back on the Bearly Mine Designs DT.

When my Father was ill and later had to go into a Nursing Home, I had to give up a lot of my DT positions. He sadly passed away in January and I found that I had lots more time to craft - fortunately most of my old Design Teams have welcomed me back and I have also been invited to join some fabulous new ones.

The new challenge at Bearly Mine Designs this month is One for the Boys and I have made a card using Donna's fabulous new Wooden Wonders Digi Set.

I have stamped directly onto one of the papers with a Tim Holtz Travel Blueprint stamp, I stamped it several times so that I could cut it out and layer it up.  I used the same stamp to do some second generation stamping on another of the fabulous papers from the pack and inked the edges of everything with Frayed Burlap distress ink.

The sentiment is computer generated, I tried to match the text on the stamp, I think I did quite well!  As this card is for a man the only embellishments are some string and brads from my stash.

We have two fabulous sponsors again this month:

and

Prize: £15 voucher to spend in the Bearly Mine Designs Shop

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Inky Impressions Challenge 161 - Anything Goes
Paper Pretties Challenge 312 - Father's Day/Masculine
Ruby's Rainbow Challenge 80 - One for the Boys
The Paper Shelter Challenge 160 - Make it Manly
Crafty Girls Challenge 19 - Anything Goes
Eureka Stamps Challenge 91  - Masculine or grungy
Allsorts Challenge Week 261 - For The Guys
Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge Week 214 - Vintage
My Sheri Crafts Challenge 134 - Anything Masculine!

Make sure you pop over to the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenges Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our One for the Boys challenge.

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.

  14. Wow, what a nice male card Pauline, beautiful papers and the way you've used the stamp is so nice. I find if very hard to make a card for a male so I don't make them very often. This is a good inspiration for me.. so perhaps...........;)

  42. Congratulations on being a top 5 winner on Eureka's challenge Masculine and Grungy! I picked you as a winner, too! I am #51 and also won the top 5, which is really what I was aiming for. It's my first time entering any challenges and also my first time blogging. I have no idea what this 'grab a badge" means or how to do it. I am a newby to all this! Would love some advice, as your blog seems well decorated:)! Love, love that compass card!
