Happy Halloween!

Yes, I have made a Halloween card in April!  My entire family think that I am completely mad and perhaps they're right, but the minute I saw the sketch designed by Chrissie for the new challenge at Less is More I remembered some cards that I had seen on Pinterest and decided to have a go at making one myself.

I made a mask and created the moon using distress inks, it took a couple of attempts and it's still not perfect.  The bat and tree are from the Clearly Besotted Fright Night stamp and die set along with the sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Sweet Stampin' Challenge - No Designer Paper
Paper Crafting Challenges #8 - No Patterned Paper
That's Crafty Challenge - Black & White with a Splash
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Keep in Clean and Simple
Less is More Challenge Week 169 - Sketch

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is much appreciated.

  1. I don't think you are mad at all. I was looking at stamps the other day and thought I need to get started on Halloween and Fall cards. This is so very pretty, Pauline. Love the coloring of the moon. Great card.

  4. Great card Pauline, you're ready for Halloween;) No problem with making cards for Halloween in April, I just make cards for Christmas all year long, doesn't matter as long you enjoy making it.

  31. Many of us make Christmas cards all year round, so why not a Halloween card in April:) I must admit I enjoy making Christmas cards more now than in December, there are lots of other things to prepare for then. The layout is PERFECT for the scene you've created!
