Deck the Halls

I saw some fabulous Christmas stamps by Jayne Nestorenko in one of my craft magazines the other day so I popped over to her website and had a quick look - needless to say one or two stamps and some traditional decoupage sheets fell into my basket.  They arrived within a couple of days and this is a card I have made with one of the decoupage sheets.

The decoupage sheets are really good quality but a little fiddly to cut out, there are six layers in total.  I embossed the white card stock with my Embossalicious Chevrons embossing folder using an embossing diffuser that I made myself before layering it onto some Kraft card stock.  The sentiment was part of the decoupage sheet and the string is from my stash.

This photograph shows the decoupage layers a little better.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Delicious Doodles Challenge 62 - CAS
Totally Papercrafts Challenge 193 - Clean & Simple
Dream Valley Challenge 70 - Clean and Simple
CHNC November Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes
Crafty Sentiments Challenge - Christmas
Oldie but a Goodie Challenge - CAS Christmas
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Embossing
Deep Ocean Challenge 65 - Favourite Colour Combo (Red and Green - especially for Christmas cards)

Thank you so much for joining me today, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to my latest followers and say a huge thank you to everyone that takes the time to visit my blog and leave a comment.

  13. How lovely that embossing folder is, Pauline! The difuser did a wonderful job with that pretty pattern for the lovely decoupage foliage ball! Beautiful with that tiny twine! How you could tie that ribbon defies my imagination - so I always fully appreciate it when I see it on other people's cards. This is beautiful. hugs, de
