Spooky Treats

I thought I would make something special for our Trick or Treat visitors this year, we don't get that many - most of the children in our area have grown up now.

Here are the first two, made using my Clearly Besotted Boo to You and Fright Night stamps.  I have the matching die for the Pumpkin but the set to go with the Ghost were sold out so I fussy cut my ghost.

Here is a close up of them both individually:

The papers are My Minds Eye and Dovecraft Back to Basics - I coloured the orange stripes with ProMarkers.  I added some black corrugated card, punched the small stars and added some 3D Crystal Lacquer to them.  The sentiments are from Pink Petticoat.

Inside there is a little pocket just the right size for a small packet of sweets.

I would like to enter these treat holders into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Use a Rubber or Clear Stamp
Creative Inspirations Paint - Halloween
Hobbycutz Challenge 19 - Halloween
My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge 10 - Halloween
Crafty Calendar October Challenge - Halloween
Party Time Tuesdays Challenge 141 - Pumpkins
Paper Pretties Challenge 229 - This is Halloween
Creative Inspirations Challenge 235 - Happy Haunting!
Moving Along with the Times Challenge - Spooktastic Times

Thank you for visiting today, please pop in again soon.  There is still plenty of time to enter my Candy draw, if you would like to take a look you can find it here.

  3. Brilliant! Great design and I love the whole pocket for sweets idea. Mine are just going to have a clear baggie with a tag on top this year, but I will remember this for next year!
We live in a suburban area that's overrun with kids! We have more than half a dozen primary schools and two secondary schools within 1.5 miles from our house. So even though we live in a cul-de-sac, we *still* get heaps of trick or treaters. I've already stocked up on treats... There's anough to feed a small army! lol. x
