Apple Harvest

I have made this card to enter into the current Ooh La La Creations Challenge - Things with Wings, the prize this fortnight is one of their fabulous new Shawn Jenkins Collection CD's.

I have used a fabulous decoupage image from Joanna Sheen's Jane Shasky CD, the apple papers are also from the CD and the gingham papers are from Bearly Mine Designs.

You can see the decoupage layers a little better in this photograph.

I have punched a border and the little leaf embellishment has been cut from cork using a Clearly Besotted die.  The sentiment tags are LOTV and the twine is from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Ooh La La Creations Challenge - Things with Wings
Brown Sugar Challenge 65 - Autumn
Card Crafter's Circle Challenge 98 - Autumn Splendour
Delightful Weekly Challenge - Winged Things
The Male Room Challenge 7 - Nature
The Craft Room Challenge - Our Feathered Friends
Lady Anne's Challenge 7 - Autumn/Fall
Mema's Crafts October Challenge - A Coat of Colours
Catch The Bug October Photo Challenge - Inspiration Photograph

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who takes the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is most welcome.

  5. Beautiful and perfect card. I am not so sure how to use my new CD, so need to play with the images. When you printed up the decoupage pieces did you have to cut each one out and your colours are so bright, really beautiful.xxx

  13. Oh, I'm back to say I couldn't find the Jane Shasky CD at Joanna Sheen - it must be currently unavailable or out of print. But your card is stunning and I will keep my eyes on ebay - you just never know. Thanks again!

  32. Wow...this is gorgeous. I used to live in BC's apple growing area...the Okanagan. My family still lives there.
BIL's family had a packing house...they stayed open for many years...2nd last packing house to close in town. AT the end, they made diabetic canned fruit for hospitals and nursing homes etc.

Your card brought back lots of happy memories for me.
