Sailboat

This is the card that I made for my eldest son to give his Grandad on his birthday.  I chose the image of a lighthouse because my Dad was born on the Isle of Wight and loves the sea and all things associated with it.  It also reminds me of lovely summer holidays spent on the Island.

This is another Paper Creator card kit.  I have added some of my own papers from the docrafts 'Ahoy There!' collection and a sentiment from LOTV, stamped onto a Spellbinders Ribbon Banners die cut, that I have inked whilst still in the die.

You can see some of the decoupage layers here:

My Dad had a lovely birthday in his nursing home, they made him a fabulous cake that was shared with us and all of the residents.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Creative Card Crew Challenge 42 - Banner/Pennant
Creative Moments Chalenge 23 - Sea/Seashore

We used to go to the Isle of Wight each year when I was a child. I grew very close to the family we stayed with and never wanted to come home.
