Fluffy Chicks

This is the card I have made for the current challenge over at A Day for Daisies, I really love these fabulous animal images.

I have used  the adorable Soft Chicks image and coloured it with ProMarkers, the theme of the challenge is 'Add a Ruffle' so I gathered some lace from my stash to create my ruffle.  The gingham papers are from Pink Petticoat and I printed the matching plain colour onto some card stock for my base and to cut the curved border with my Spellbinders Curved Borders One die.  The LOTV sentiment is stamped directly onto the gingham paper.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

A Day for Daisies Challenge 77 - Add a Ruffle
Creative Card Crew Challenge 43 - Down on the Farm
Stamp n' Doodle - Yee Ha!  It's Gingham Time
Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - Use a Border
Jellypark Friends Friday Challenge - Things that Fly
Delicious Doodles Challenge 50 - Birds of a Feather
2 Sisters Challenge 158 - Square Cards
Crazy 4 Challenges 200 - Animals
The Squirrel & the Fox Challenge 51 - Spring or Autumn (Spring)

I hope everyone has had a fabulous weekend, thank you for visiting me today.

  7. Just so gorgeous. Do love this simple but elegant style. We had chicks as a child and I am being encouraged by your card to get this image and make dad a Father's Day card, which is on the 1st September here in Australia.
On reading about your dad, yes they are a stubborn species, dad still thinks he can walk and I assume he could with the assistance he needs but not on his own...take care.xx
