Pretty in Pink

Good morning everyone, it's Saturday already and I'm late for The CD Sunday Challenge again this week, the theme is Butterflies and this is the card I have made for my Mother in Law for Mother's day.

I have used a Hunkydory topper, but as usual I have not used it as it was intended.  I have lots and lots of card kits and toppers that I bought when I first started card making and I am determined that they will not be wasted.  This topper was actually part of a card kit, I have cut it out and used it on its own rather that with the card base that came with it and of course it has been decoupaged.

The papers and sentiment are the CD element on this card, they are both from Joanna Sheen's Jane Shasky CD.

As usual I have decorated the inside of my card to match the front.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The CD Sunday Challenge - Butterflies
Happy Campers Challenge 12 - Flutterby Butterfly
In the Pink Challenge 15 - Floral/Mother's Day
Sincerely Yours Challenge 2 - Mother's Day
Flutterby Wednesday Challenge 230 - Anything Goes with a Butterfly or Fairy
City Crafter Challenge 149 - Shades of Pink
Crafty Sentiments Challenge - Pretty in Pink
Creative Craft Challenge 5 - Mother's Day
Everybody Art Challenge 226 - Butterfly
Oldie But A Goodie Challenge - Feeling Floral (Topper, CD and ribbon over six months old)

I would like to extend a very warm welcome to my latest followers - thank you so much for joining me, I hope you enjoy your visits.

Thank you for calling today, I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.

  5. A beautiful card Pauline and I am sure your Mum will love it.
I do like Hunkdory and as you say, it is a shame not to use elements from the kits. I am waiting for my Jane Shaskey CD to arrive here in Spain.
Thanks for joining us again this week at CD Sunday and good luck in the draw.
