Dreaming of Summer ...

This is the card I have made for the CD Sunday Challenge this week, the theme is 'Forever in Blue Jeans' .  Well this one was a bit of a challenge again, most of the images I have had been used by the DT ladies so I was desperately searching through my CD's when I remembered this fab little image from the Crafter's Companion S.W.A.L.K. collection.


She really makes me yearn for warm summer days, especially as I'm looking out of the window at the remains of last weeks snow which still refuses to melt.

The CD element on this card is the backing papers, they are from the S.W.A.L.K. Papercrafting CD-ROM 2.  My base card stock is Stardream from Joanna Sheen and the sentiment is LOTV.

I have followed the sketch from Seize the Birthday a relatively new Sketch Challenge that I have only just discovered and I have decorated the inside of my card to match the front.

    Hi Pauline. The snow is still here too but at least we can see some grass now where it's beginning to melt.

    This is a lovely card Pauline, I love the SWALK range and you've made a gorgeous card with this image.

    I didn't think I had anything suitable for the challenge this week - didn't think to look at SWALK!

    We've had lots more snow here, it had just cleared yesterday afternoon and then we had really heavy snowfall and everywhere is now well and truly covered.
