Happy Birthday Matt

My eldest son is seventeen today, he was due to be born on Christmas Eve but there was no way I was going to be in hospital over Christmas so we went to see Mel Gibson's Braveheart at the Cinema and that seemed to get things moving - he was born the next day!

This is the card that I made for my younger son to give him, actually it was the one that I made for me and his dad to give him, but Laurence somehow managed to write in the wrong one:


Quite a simple card, but I often find these more difficult to make as you don't have the opportunity to cover up any mistakes.  As usual I have decorated the inside of my card as well:

Card Stock:  Crafter's Companion - Core'dinations
Tools:  Spellbinders - Standard Circle and Classic Square (inside card),
X-Cut Star Die
Sentiment:  Simon Says Stamp - Monthly Card Kit

Well, that's about it from me today, Matt will be home from college soon and I'm cooking him a his favourite dinner - Roast Chicken.  Thank you for calling, I hope to see you again soon.

    Loving the card you made for him .. and I think you are right. Quite often the simpler ones are the more challenging.
