The Witching Hour

I can't believe how fast the weeks fly past, it's time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy.  It's Team B's turn to provide the inspiration this week and our theme this time is HALLOWEEN - we would like to see your spooky, scary - or non scary, witching projects.

You could also enter an ANYTHING GOES WITH A WHOOPSI DAISY IMAGE project if you would like, so if you use a WHOOPSI DAISY IMAGE you can enter any style of card or project you like - you don't have to follow the theme - so come on get out your WHOOPSI DAISY images and show us what you can do - there is usually a free image HERE.

This is my card using a pre-coloured image from sheet 386, pop over to the Whoopsi Daisy Digi Shop and take a look at the new sheets, there are lots with coloured and non coloured digi images on them, perfect for when you want to take some time and colour your image and also for those quick cards that you need to make in a hurry.

All of the papers are from the Bearly Mine Designs - Happy Hauntings set and the card stock is Crafter's Companion Core'dinations - I've nearly used up all of my black now.  I cut my bat embellishments from some free papers from Summertime Designs and then heat embossed them with black embossing powder.

Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

I have used the same design and papers to decorate the inside of my card to match the front:

CARD RECIPE:

Card Stock:  Crafter's Companion - Core'dinations
Tools:  Spellbinders - Square Swatches, Classic Squares, Ric Rac Diamond Border
Embellishments:  ribbon, button, twine, card candy from stash

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The Ribbon Carousel Challenge 73 - Halloween Spirit
Crafty Calendar October Challenge - All things Spooky
Di's Digi Designs - Too Cute to Spook Halloween Creations
The Cutie Pie Challenge 29 - Halloween
Scrappy Frogs Challenge - Fall/Halloween
Lexi's Creations Challenge 76 - Halloween
Papelitos Challenge 16 - Witches
No Matter Which Challenge 3 - Halloween Creations
Dream Valley Challenge 43 - Halloween
Diva's by Design - Something Spooky

Make sure you pop over to the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Blog, take a look at the DT inspiration and join in with this weeks HALLOWEEN challenge but don't forget you can also enter an ANYTHING GOES WITH A WHOOPSI DAISY IMAGE project.

Thank you so much for visiting me today, please leave a comment so that I know you have called and I can come and visit you.

  11. Those precolored images from Whoopsi Daisy are lovely and I guess they come in handy when time and/or mojo is scarce and a card is needed! Love the papers and those heat embossed bats look glittery and great!
