Christmas - 2 Miles

This is my offering for the CD Sunday challenge this week, the image and papers are from my Ooh La La Christmas Presence CD, there were four images on the sheet - I suppose I could have just cropped it but I just couldn't resist printing them all and making some decoupage.

I layered the image onto red card stock and then onto Kraft along with the papers and the corrugated layer has been distressed with some white Pebeo paint.  I am having mega problems trying to embellish my cards at the moment - I just can't seem to get it right - so I have left it quite plain again. Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

I decorated the inside of my card to complement the front with the same papers and part of an insert from the CD.

CARD RECIPE:

Image and Papers:  Ooh La La - Christmas Presence
Card Stock:  Crafters Companion - Core'dinations, Dies to Die For - Kraft,
Polka Doodles - Corrugated Kraft
Tools:  Spellbinders - Classic Squares (inside card)
Embellishments:  Card Candy from stash, Pebeo paint
Sentiment:  LOTV - Christmas Grungy Messages

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The CD Sunday Challenge - Christmas
Ooh La La Creations Challenge 115 - Santa
Crafty Sentiments Challenge - Anything Goes
Deep Ocean Challenge 36 - Anything Goes
An Oldie But A Goodie - Inspired by a Song (Santa Claus is coming to town) - card stock. card candy and CD are all over 6 months old

  12. I think this card looks great as it is - no need for more embellishments, the panelling does the work, if you ask me, together with the combination of pretty Christmas papers and image. The inside looks lovely as well.
