Alfie With Thanks

Good morning, it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge today and it's my turn to host again this week.  Sadly this is going to be the last challenge I will be hosting as I have made the difficult decision to step down from the design team.  It has been over a year now and it is time for me to let someone else have the pleasure of working with the gorgeous Walter and Winnie and Polly Pickleberry images.

This is the card I have made using the fab Alfie and the postbox digital collection:

This is my final sketch:

Quite a simple one again with plenty of scope for you to embellish as you wish.  The theme I have chose for this week is:

WARM COLOURS - RedOrangeYellow etc.

If you really feel like a challenge you can do the Sketch and the Theme but it is not necessary to do both.

You can use anything from your crafty stash but of course we'd love to see something from Willow Designs if you have it. If you use the sketch it's OK to rotate it or re-size the elements and you can add embellishments as you please, just as long as the original sketch layout can be recognised.

This is the inside of my card, I have decorated it using the same papers and layout as the front:

CARD RECIPE:

Image:  Willow Designs - Alfie and the postbox digital collection
Papers:  Willow Designs - Alfie and the postbox digital collection
Card Stock:  Crafter's Companion - Core'dinations
Tools:  Spellbinders - Scalloped circle and standard circle
Embellishments:  ribbon from stash
Sentiment:  Docrafts - postage stamp, text - free stamp with Cardmaking and Papercraft

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Now it's your turn to join in with my last ever challenge for Willow Sketchie, don't forget you can either follow my sketch and/or the theme.  You have until Wednesday 15th August at 20:00 to enter.

The randomly drawn winner will receive a voucher to spend in the Willow Designs Shop where there is a selection of stamps, digi stamps, digi papers, fabric panels, ProMarkers and of course the Polly Pickleberry and Walter and Winnie CD's to choose from.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I do appreciate it when you pop in and love to read your lovely comments.

  23. Beautiful! Such a sweet card with a cute image. Thought of you today, I had about 50 cards that needed inserts. I spent the whole day making them. Of course I didn't make them like you do! I even showed my husband your inserts and he looked at mine and didn't say a word! I keep saying that I will make an insert when I do a card but do I, hell do I! Michelle x
