Good morning to you, it's Thursday again and that means a new challenge at
Willow Sketchie, this week Anne-Marie has chosen the theme 'Christmas in July' and this is my card:
This is Anne-Marie's fab sketch:
Don't forget - you don't have to follow both the sketch and the theme unless you want to, one or the other will do just fine. I've rotated the sketch and re-sized some of the elements, I have definitely followed the theme this week.
I have used the
Willow Designs - Fast Asleep stamp and coloured it with a combination of ProMarkers and FlexMarkers I also added quite a lot of my new found friend - Stickles. Full details of everything I have used are listed below.
I have decorated the inside of my card to complement the front:
Card Recipe:
Papers: Dovecraft - Jolly Happy Christmas paper pack
Card Stock: Crafter's Companion - Core'dinations
Tools: Martha Stewart border punch, Woodware - corner punch
Embellishments: ribbon, stickles and card candy from stash
Sentiment: recycled from an old Christmas card
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Clear it Out - Christmas in July (use red or green) - Papers/ribbon/card candy/sentiment all from last year
Make sure you pop over to the
Willow Sketchie Challenge Blog and have a look at the DT inspiration, you have until 20:00 hrs on Wednesday 25th July to enter and the prize is a voucher to spend in the
Willow Designs Store. Don't forget you can either follow the sketch and/or the theme.
The full range of new Christmas Stamps is now available in the
Willow Designs Store, make sure you pop over and take a look.
Thank you for popping in this morning, I hope you enjoyed your visit and call back again soon.
