Ship Shape

This is a card I have made for my niece's husband, now that is showing my age isn't it.  He builds yachts for a living so I though something nautical would be appropriate.

The image is a La Pashe decoupage sheet and the papers are from my Bearly Mine Designer Extreme CD.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.  I matted the image onto black card stock and then onto Kraft to make it stand out a little.

This is the inside of my card, I tried to show the decoupage a little but I don't think I succeeded.

I always find it difficult to embellish men's cards so I kept it simple, just some string with a button tied to one side and an anchor charm.

CARD RECIPE:

Image:  La Pashe
Papers:  Bearly Mine Designer Extreme CD
Card Stock:  Dies to Die For - Kraft, Joanna Sheen - Onyx Stardream
Embellishments: string, button and charm from stash
Sentiment:  LOTV label stamp, Wild Rose Studio text stamp

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

  1. This is a great man's card Pauline, love the anchor charm.

I was convinced I had a charm of a ships wheel which would have been perfect for a card I made this week, when I eventually found it, it turned out to be a snowflake :o)
