Blue Christmas

It's time for a new challenge over at the Polkdadoodles Challenge blog, the theme for the DT this fortnight is Blue Christmas but you can enter an Anything Goes project. I have used a digi image and papers from the fabulous Winnie in Winterland CD to create my card.

I coloured my fun image with ProMarkers and added some sparkle pen to the ornaments.

The snowflakes were die cut from the papers with a free die that came with a magazine.

Snowman Joyfold

I have some really exciting news to share today, I have been invited to join the Design Team for a fabulous new Challenge - Christmas with the Cuties

I really do need some encouragement to make Christmas cards throughout the year, I'm well behind again this year even though I vowed that I wouldn't be!

Our first challenge starts today and the theme is a nice easy one - Anything Goes, so as long as it's cute and Christmas you're good to join us.

I have used an image and papers from the Making Cards Magazine Christmas Special to create my card.

I have been trying some new card folds for a change, this one is a Joyfold design.

Snowmen Selfie

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme for the next fortnight is Snowmen.

I have used this fun Snowmen Selfie Digi Stamp available in the Pink Gem Designs Shop to make my card.

I coloured them with ProMarkers and used some First Edition papers.

The sentiment tag is from Polkadoodles and the ribbon, twine and candi is from my stash.

Admiring the Star

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Creator's Crafts and the theme for this months challenge is Anything Goes - Paper Creator products are not essential but you will gain an extra entry for using them.

I used the Admiring The Star Ultimate Kit to make two Christmas cards for my Great Nephews.

For this card I used the Easel Topper from the Create an Easel section.  It is a decopage image so lots of fussy cutting.  The sentiment is also part of the kit and I used the insert to decorate the inside of my card.

For my second card I used the Topper from the Build A Topper section, another decoupage image along with one of the papers and a sentiment.

I used the same paper to create an insert.
