Snow is falling

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and the theme this week is:

Smile

I have a little Clean and Simple Birthday card to share today using my new Lawn Fawn Finley's ABC dies.


I cut the letters from different coloured card stock and coloured the camera image from the Paper Smooches We Totally Click set to match with my ProMarkers.


The sentiment is a Clearly Besotted stamp.

Sunflowers

It's time for a new challenge at Craftng for all Seasons and the theme for the next fortnight is Tag It.

I have made a card using a gorgeous image called Sunflowers Vase provided by Bugaboo who are our sponsor this week and papers from Graphic 45.


I cut my tag with a Tim Holtz die and inked the edges of all the papers with Distress Ink,  I coloured my image with ProMarkers and fussy cut it before fixing to my tag with foam pads for some dimension.


My Kraft card base, sentiment and card candy are all from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon and twine is from my stash.

Romantic Rose

I love the theme at Less is More this week, it's 'Newsprint' and lots of ideas popped  into my head when I saw what it was.

This is my second card, this time I have used papers from the My Mind's Eye Madison Avenue collection and as always my inspiration came from Pinterest.


Unfortunately, this is one of those cards that just does not photograph well!  I cut the heart with a Sizzix die and the rolled rose is a Marianne Creatables die.  The lace border is a Fiskars edge punch.

Candle Light Romance

This is my second DT post today, if you are looking for my Ooh La La Creations card you can find it below.

It's time for our mid challenge reminder at the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge, this fortnight our theme is: White on White hosted by Kelly - you can also enter a card with an anything goes theme as long as you use a House-Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie image that will be fine.

I have used a fabulous coloured image from Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse Triple CD.


I cut out my image with a Spellbinders circle  die and placed it on a Heart Circle die cut.  I added some embossed lines to the base layer and then embossed another layer with a Crafter's Companion embossing folder.


The poinsettias are a Sue Wilson die and the pearls are from my stash.

Flying by .....

The theme at Less is More this week is 'Newsprint', I had loads of ideas pop into my head for this challenge - you could be seeing some more later in the week!

Batty Bear

It's time for a new challenge at  Di's Digi Designs and the theme for the next fortnight is Halloween - this is my card.


I chose to use the adorable Batty Bear image and coloured it with ProMarkers.  The papers are from Graphic 45 and I have used my favourite Memory Box Creepy Web die.


I used a Martha Stewart punch to create the border and added some pearls from my stash.

Boo!

I was invited to Guest Design for the Sweet 7 Digital Designs Challenge, the theme is Halloween and this is the card I have made using the fabulous Pumpkins & Jack-o-Lanterns image - there are 2 images in the set and I have used the Jack-o-Lantern image for my Clean and Simple card.


I printed the Jack-o-Lantern image three times and coloured it with ProMarkers, I also stamped a selection of Halloween images from Clearly Besotted and cut them all out with Hexagon dies from Memory Box.


I inked the edges of the hexagons and attached them with foam tape for a little dimension.  The spider web background was created with a stencil from My Favorite Things.

You can never have .....

too much Chocolate!  Well that's what the sentiment says anyway - I think you probably can, but it's a nice thought.

I have been playing with one of the fabulous Card Kits from Paper Creator's Crafts.

This one is called Chocolate Bunny and includes:  Backing Paper and Layers Sheet, Jumble Pyramage Sheet, Envelope Front and Envelope Back.


They are really easy to make up, I just do a dry run first so that I know what I am doing - the layers are all numbered and there is a picture of the finished card to guide you as well.


All that I added was some dark brown card stock and my card base.

Tis the Season

This is a little Christmas card that I have made just for fun.  The idea came from a card on the Lawn Fawn blog, but my card ended up looking quite different.


The cute little robins come from the Clearly Besotted Rockin' Robin stamp and die set along with the sentiment.  My white rectangles have been cut with my favourite Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies.

Sugar 'n Spice

It's time for a fabulous new challenge at the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge, this fortnight our theme is: White on White hosted by Kelly - you can also enter a card with an anything goes theme as long as you use a House-Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie image that will be fine.

I have used a fabulous image from Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse Christmas 'Gingerbread House' stamp set and coloured it with ProMarkers.


I cut out my image with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die and placed it inside two other frames cut with the same die set.  The base layer has been embossed with a Crafter's Companion embossing folder and the sentiment is from the House-Mouse stamp set.


I have added a bow tied with Seam Binding from The Ribbon Girl and a little snowflake button from my stash.

Thanks for bee-ing so kind

The Less is More Challenge this week is 'Little Creatures', as soon as I saw the theme I knew which image I was going to use - Pink Petticoat Little Bee Cuties.


I have coloured my Bee with ProMarkers and added some Wink of Stella glitter to the wings and heart in the sentiment, I then added some 3D Chrystal Lacquer to the heart as well.


The striped papers are also from Pink Petticoat and the yellow card stock is from my stash - I used an EK Success punch to punch the border.

Blue for a Boy

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Creator's Crafts and the theme for the challenge is Pink or Blue with Buttons - Paper Creator products are not essential but you will gain an extra entry for using them

I have made a card and matching box using the gorgeous Blue Bubbles of Love card kit.


The kit includes - Backing Paper and Layers sheet, Topper and Decoupage Layers Sheet, Envelope Front and Envelope Back.

I used Tattered Lace and Spellbinders dies to create the base for the adorable decoupage image and used the backing paper for the base.  The sentiment is an All Occasion Die and the buttons and twine are from my stash.
