Seaside Memories

This is the Mother's Day card I made for my Mother this year, not very similar to the one I made for my Mother in Law.  My Mum likes more simple cards and I though this fabulous scene from Joanna Sheen's Tom Mielko Project Book would remind her of the many happy holidays we spent on the Isle of Wight when I was a child.

The decoupage image and the papers are from the CD and the sentiment was computer generated.

I used the same papers and one of the layers of decoupage to decorate the inside of the card:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafts 4 Eternity Challenge 114 - Marvellous Mums

We are going down to Milford on Sea for Lunch today, meeting up with my Mum, Dad, Sister and her husband and weather permitting will go for a walk by the sea, or if it is a bit cold might pop into Lymington to have a wander around the shops.

Have a lovely day everyone.

It's a beautiful scene, with such a peaceful feel to it. I think your choice of the striped paper as background is excellent, and, as always, you've made a pretty inside too.
